blogiversary

Eleven shakes of a persimmon tree turns two years old today. Happy Blogiversary to me and my little home on the internet. Keeping this blog going hasn't always been easy, but it's been cathartic. A release of creativity and a place to focus on the good days and the smiling faces of the people I love. Thank you so much for visiting and encouraging and supporting. I feel like I've made so many blog friends and been able to truly express myself here. I will continue to do the best I can and I hope you continue to enjoy what I share.

  2. Emily, where did you get the persimmon tree idea? When ripe, they are good. Un-ripe is a puckering event. You could have a pucker party. Alice would love your pucker voice;a new language to learn. You know, maybe the party should stick with beer,or gin and tonic. How is everyone doing? Congrats on your blog. Keep it up.

    1. It's a line from an old Pete Seeger folk song. I do believe you have to eat persimmons when they are really squishy. Thanks for checking in, Larry, things are going well. Winter is almost over.

  6. happy blogiversary! it's so easy to let "life" get in the way of things you enjoy (ahem, this is why i haven't blogged in three months, haha), but your blog has always inspired me and you really do a great job with it! it's so great to be able to come here and catch up with you, in a way (and see really cute pics of alice and rosy)!!
