how to dress for tea

One, of course, can dress however they wish for tea. But me, I like to get all gussied up.

Gloves are an excellent choice, no matter the weather. I find wrist length to be the most appropriate for afternoon tea. These belonged to my grandmother, as did the bracelet.

I proper hat really comes in handy in the Spring here in Wisconsin. The wind is brutal. I chose this subdued topper since my dress and sweater were so bright and colorful.

Not sure where to find a hat? Browse vintage and antique stores. This hat was a steal at $14! It is in perfect condition. I procured it from the ever stylish Tip Top Atomic Shop.

A touch of jewelry is always a good idea. I am loving the Les Perles glasses chain from Bonlook. They really add a touch of class to my old glasses.
