I have such a nostalgic love for Florida; the trees dripping with spanish moss, the sandy dirt and the hot summer thunderstorms. They come on so fast- clouds swirling and dark in an instant. Everyday. Seriously- it rains everyday around 4:00 in the sunshine state. (PSA: take a poncho to Disney- it will rain... at 4pm. You're welcome)
The best part of the storms? The rain stops as fast as it starts, leaving a haze of moist heat over all the greenery. The roads steam and the oppressive heat lessens just a bit in that beautiful late afternoon light. The best!
